The excitement you feel as the clock strikes down to midnight on New Year’s Eve is incredible. That kiss to your loved one as your mind explodes in anticipation of the year ahead is so powerful. This will be your year, you proclaim.
But this exhilaration doesn’t last long, does it? Life and its struggles soon takes over. Nothing changes, in fact things seem to be getting a little worse. Those new year resolutions again mount to nothing, and they probably didn’t even last into the second week of the year.
