Are you thinking of becoming a new blogger? For most people, the thought of leaving a regular salary for a career where the returns can’t be guaranteed is unnerving.

Does this sound anything like your life. The alarm goes off. It’s still dark outside. Dressing hurriedly you head out the door and rush to the train station. You reach the station, and the platform is packed, as usual. Once the train arrives it’s already crammed full, and you squeeze in to a tiny little gap. Eventually you reach your place of work. You have been working there for what seems forever, and things never seem to get any better. You need a coffee to get you going. Your day is like every other. Boring and mundane. You say the thing that you repeat countless times “I hate my job?!”

Most of us have been hit with that pit-of-the-stomach, Monday-morning moment of questioning: Why do I work here? Is this all there is?

When you combine passion and drive you can make things happen. I live the life I truly want making a living doing something I love and am able to share my talents and passions with the world. Why don’t you join me so you can live the life you truly want?
You’ve no doubt heard a thousand times: Do what you love and the money will follow.

“Follow your passion, and success will follow you”. Arthur Buddhold

How different would life be if you had a positive emotional connection to your work. If you’re going to be your most successful, you have to be passionate. It energizes you!

You need to lay out a plan that will help you put all the pieces together. There is no getting away from the fact that Drive and Passion are two of the main qualities that every entrepreneur must have. Passion is what creates the drive that we must have to succeed. Then our drive is what motivates us to excel and strive forward.

To truly succeed, it’s imperative that an entrepreneur follows their passion. Passion is key. Passion is what keeps you pressing forward into the late hours of the morning or gets you to wake up early every morning excited about your prospects for the day. As an entrepreneur, there is no substitute for passion.

Your drive gives you the impetus to do what needs to be done to achieve your success. Drive is the result of passion. Passion is what fuels the best of what we do.

People on my course and others in my social network often ask ‘how do you do it all?’ I guess my best answer is that I am simply following my passion. My passion gives me the ability to keep going no matter what. I may be busy, but it’s doing what I love. I’m better for it, and I know there are hundreds, if not thousands of you that would benefit from doing the same, by following your passions.

“Don’t ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive and then go do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive”. Howard Thurman

Larry this is an awesome post as usual:)

I too am a great believer that passion is the key to success. If you don’t truly love what you do it will show.

Running a business is incredibly hard work so if you’re passionate about it, not only does it help you succeed but it makes it a lot more fun and enjoyable!

Oh Lilach if only more people remembered how important it is to have fun when working, and no doubts whatever job we do there will be always hard work, but when we are passionate about it, it does make it seem so much easier and palatable

Well said Larry – and couldn’t agree more.

The thing is that virtually everyone, no-one excluded will have a passion about something, no matter how big or small. And if one person is passionate about something you can bet that there are other people in the world who have the same loving interest to share with.

It then boils down to perceived barriers of sharing that passion by blogging – and those barriers can be bashed down when you’re shown how.

Fiona you are absolutely right. Once you find your passion, we must remove our fears and doubts and start our blogs communicating with others who share your passions, and will enjoy your take on it. Then when you find that you love blogging, and realise you can make money from it then you experience a fantastic transformation stage in your life. Well that’s what i found
