Does Life Seem To Be A Constant Battle?
Share

Does life seem to be a constant battle and you’re ready to escape to a new life? Somebody said to me the other day “My life has all been a struggle to meet ends, only left with hopes and inspiration for a much better future.”

Strength and growth come only through continuous effort and struggle. Napoleon Hill

Often you feel saddened that your life isn’t anything close to what you want it to be. At the worst of times life can feel totally screwed up. No matter how hard you try, you keep running into dead ends, getting nowhere, constantly finding things just don’t work out for you.

When younger you had great plans, amazing ideas but they petered out, long forgotten, and are a million miles away from where life finds you today.

I’m sorry if this is what’s happened to you. Yet as a coach, who believes in looking forward and not back, and knows wherever life finds you today, you still have incredible potential, I want you to know without any doubt that you can transform your life into something great.

Do not live regretting the past or your bad luck after all life’s too short to cry!

Of course there are events in life that cause us disappointment, sadness and pain. Some are life events like the loss of a loved one, severe illness, losing your job, failure of the business you built. Also there are other events we have experienced which have brought us great misery. Failures in things we’ve tried. When you look back over your life you may feel that largely you’ve achieved nothing, suffered in so many ways, experienced too much struggle and heartache. Yet what’s done is done. We can’t change the past but you can certainly change the future.

From this point forward I want you to understand one thing. You are the creator of most of what will happen in your life. You are the creator of your reality.

I know many of you feel powerless in life, buffeted by the winds of change and uncertainty, with no idea what to expect from the future. But you can take control.

I am a great believer in the Law of Attraction, greatly influenced by the movie and book called The Secret. The principle is what you focus on expands. What you put your attention to grows. The frequency at which you vibrate attracts that which vibrates likewise.

So when we expect more difficulties, more battles, more struggles in fact that is what we are asking to receive.

When you focus on your desires, don’t do so from a place of lack. Focus on them from a place of feeling good. Think about how it would feel if that desire were fulfilled. Feel the joy, happiness and accomplishment of the desire achieved. I believe in the power of carrying within our minds a powerful beautiful vision of our perfect life some years ahead.

We live life the best way we can – we live by constantly making mistakes, constantly faltering, constantly changing our paths and directions in life, and constantly judging our each and every move. We live to fail and to learn from our mistakes. When you keep going, time will come where we will succeed.

Maybe you weren’t blessed with being born into wealth. In your mind you may come from the wrong part of the world. Of course there are people who came into this world with more opportunities, more money, maybe even more intelligence, a better personality, they may be better looking than you, and I hope for their sake they made the most of what they were given. But this does not mean that you should expect less for yourself.

I recall learning about the journey of the Israelites: enslaved in Egypt, wandering in the wilderness and finally making it into the Promised Land. There is always light at the end of the tunnel. Are you prepared to put in the effort to find your way to your promised land?

When you learn how to wield a power like the law of attraction, you realize that you are in control. You get to set the tone of your own reality.

To this point I’m afraid to tell you that many of your troubles have been self-created. Yes I’m saying you are responsible for everything that happens to you in your life. When you start accepting responsibility for the events of your life, you begin to learn more about yourself, your inner thoughts, your fears and aspirations.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Albert Einstein

It is time for you to awaken to your true self. If things in your life are making you miserable then take steps to change them.

Bringing about change takes persistence and work as well as accepting you are the one in control of your life. Once you accept that you create your own reality you will see that you possess the power to manifest what you need in order to get to the next part of your journey.

Realise that every human being has the capacity to evolve, to succeed, and to be happy.

So ask yourself right here right now what’s stopped you to this point?

What’s stopping you from reaching your potential?

Figuring this out means you can make meaningful change before the end of 2017—if you get started now.

So what’s holding you back? Dig deep within to find this answer. Set aside some ‘you’ time and reflect on your life’s journey and find the answer to this.

Once you determine the causes of what’s holding you back in life, do everything in your power to eliminate them. At first it will feel like you’re swimming against the tide. After all these things have been with you for a long time. But then momentum and energy will take over as you discover the power in facing your difficult truths and taking control of your destiny.

Where there is no struggle, there is no strength. Oprah Winfrey

    Hello,

While I find your message quite inspiring, I think it is wrong to say that we created every problem that ever happened to us. There are always external forces working against us or some of us that we never invited or attracted. I think it very ignorant to just motivate people without taking into account that some people didn’t create their problems and they did their best. External forces are real and they are designed to derail a person. You can assist people better when you acknowledge this reality because that is a step closer to empathizing with optimistic people who fight everyday to combat these external forces. Some forces are even spiritual.
I personal believe that we can achieve a lot of things with persistence, determination, optimism and hope. The question is, what happens when things are just waaay beyond us, and we are losing the zeal to keep trying without even realizing it.

Katia. Thank you for your comment. External forces are real there is no doubt, and our reactions are at times very hard to control, but control we must. There’s a saying every time we get knocked down we must get back up, and yes show our ‘resilience’ to enable us to ‘fight everyday to combat these external forces.’ Life can be tough, about that there’s no doubt, but the reward from fighting back, and then helping others to do the same, well maybe that’s where the concept of yin and yang really works out.
