As a life coach I can teach you many things, help you to ask the right questions so you find many answers that can transform your life. Much of what you will have to do, you will have to do for yourself. One thing I strongly recommend you do, that many of you will find hard to do is choose to be grateful.
Many of you are living troubled lives, with many difficulties threatening to overwhelm you. But no matter how bad your circumstances may be, you can always find things to be grateful for, as long as you choose to be grateful. I can assure you it’s better than choosing to be miserable, and sorry for yourself.
Your situation may not always inspire thankfulness, but when you turn your thoughts to the things you can be grateful for, this will give you a boost, maybe put a smile on your face, and give you the push to keep going and bring more into your life to be grateful for.
Having a positive outlook is a choice. You can choose to find the things in your life to be grateful for, and allow this to negate the negativity that often takes over your mind. In time if you choose to be grateful you can shift your negativity and begin to sense the possibilities and opportunities at your disposal.
Everyone needs gratitude in their life especially those that feel they have nothing to be grateful for. Instead of spending most of your time cursing your situation, worrying about the things that may happen, it is so much better to give yourself time to appreciate all the things you do have. No matter how small they may be.
There is always something to be grateful for.
My suggestion is that as soon as you wake up in the morning give thanks to the good things in your life. It only takes a couple of minutes to allow gratitude to fill your heart and mind.
As soon as you open your eyes picture the smile on your children’s face, the sun rising welcoming a new day, the breaths of life leaving your nose, and everything you can think of to be grateful for. This is such a more empowering morning start up then thinking about the bills that need paying and the problems you have to deal with.
Gratitude is an expression of hope and a message of thanks.
It’s not ignoring the truth of your situation. It’s accepting the trials and tribulations of life but remembering there are things in your life to be grateful for.
It is easy to be grateful for things when things are going well. But what then of those times when what we wish for seems to be far out of reach? But some might say, “What do I have to be grateful for when my world is falling apart?”
It is so easy to think about what we don’t have.
Concentrate on our problems.
Yet good can always be found in even the worst of times. And when you choose to be grateful during these difficult times, this may be the trigger to help get you through.
We all have things to be grateful for. No matter where we are, and regardless of what we might be going through, there are always things we can be thankful for. The challenge is to allow ourselves to focus on gratitude, and find those things you can be grateful for.
