When was the last time you simply allowed a day to drift slowly by?
While you gave your attention to nothing, yet to everything.
Where you found yourself outside, maybe in a forest, a parkland or even perhaps walking along the coast line.
You allowed your eyes to capture every part of nature in front of you. The plants, flowers, trees, insects, animals. Your ears hear the wind, the animals talking, the movement all around given away by simple sounds. Maybe you can hear water, whether from a brook, river or sea. You could feel the sun on your back, the wind slightly tugging on your clothes, the ground connecting to your feet.
Your senses given the opportunity to freely explore. No limitations or restrictions. No hurry today, just simply being.
Surely you spend enough time rushing around, so consumed in what needs to be done you see nothing happening before your eyes. Stress is your prime motivator, no time to just be. Those bills need paying, that boss needs satisfying so quick, quick, keep busy.
I’m working with some wonderful people at this point in time. They each strive for excellence and searching for their true purpose. They understand the importance of connecting with something that is simply meant to be, the pinnacle point of their life, this one thing that every event or circumstance that has happened to them, gave clues so as to help them discover what it is. They understand the importance of living, enjoying the moment, seeing the bigger picture, giving themselves time to live.
Yet even they at times get caught up in just doing. I know they just allow themselves to get caught up in this being busy world we all seem to be in, forgetting that they have all the answers inside of themselves, a purpose to fulfil and a life to live. Instead they get lost, back into their old ways, of what do I need to do to lose myself once more in working. They keep getting themselves back on the treadmill, that actually goes somewhere, it takes them back to where they don’t want to be.
Today I share with you a 14 minute relaxation audio that I have produced. It helps to connect with ‘your life purpose’ but equally important it allows you to just be for a short time. I hope you enjoy it and get some value from it.
It will be interesting to see how many of my Reinvention University coachee’s play this before their webinar this week.
