It’s not that you don’t work hard because you’re already putting so much time and effort into what you’re doing. You are also convinced that you are doing everything that you should be yet your results are simply not good enough, or at least they’re not producing the results you require.
“I wear the chain I forged in life….I made it link by link, and yard by yard; I girded it on of my own free will, and of my own free will I wore it.” Charles Dickens
Only you can break free from your chains. Life can be so much better but only you can bring the changes about. The more you work the more frustrations you experience because you never seem to make any headway. You’re hurting and know life is meant to be better than this. You desperately search to discover what things keep holding you back and the answer to what it’s going to take to achieve a breakthrough in your life.

Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start.’ Nido Qubein

My eye problem, and then the cyst on my brain finally ripped the blinkers off my eyes. It was as if I emerged from a dark hole into the light, and saw the vast possibilities of the world suddenly before me. I was to accelerate my life coaching business and my online platform, and since have rediscovered my ‘oomph.’
I was being held back by doing a job that I was very good at, but which I didn’t enjoy. Working in a business that should have been laid to rest and not pour more energy into trying to recover it. But as I refused to look at the reality of my situation, I couldn’t see it.
Change is hard, so unless the pain of not changing is worse than the pain of changing, it’s all too easy to stick with the status quo. My illness turned out to be precisely what I needed to finally break through to the life I really wanted. It made me look with clarity at my life and to wake up to what was holding me back.
Finding my way on this new path hasn’t happened overnight, but getting from a life of difficulties to breakthrough—from failure to success happened rapidly once I let go of what I had been doing.
