Personal Development is The Key to Success
Share

I headed into the weekend excited about launching my new program ’All The missing Pieces’ which teaches others how to create a personal development mindset and build an online business. Once I successfully did this I took some “me” time and just relaxed my mind and chilled out.

Now our weekend is over its time to get on with building my life and business. My belief is that if you want to succeed in life you must develop your number one asset – you! I also strongly believe that the only thing stopping you from succeeding in life is yourself.

Our life holds many discoveries and adventures. You can have big dreams, great business ideas and a deep desire to see your business succeed, but the piece of the puzzle that you need is personal development. This brings it all together. It makes it possible for you to take everything forward, including your life and business. It’s the missing link that you’ve been searching desperately for up till now.

Whether you’re trying to solve a tough problem, start a business, promote a  business or create great articles for your blog, personal development and a positive mindset are crucial for you .

I will repeat, because it is so important, if you want to establish a profitable online business, you need to have the right mindset. Personal development is an essential key to your success. If you strive to improve yourself every day, you will see improvements in both your everyday life and in your business.

What is personal development? It’s a process of developing your personal growth and teaches you to constantly find ways to improve, and better yourself. It is simply a process of improving yourself in order to achieve your goals and dreams, to reach your full potential. With personal development, you become a better you.

Personal Development is a system of identifying skill sets in your life that need to be enhanced or completely developed. It is having a desire to be the best that you can be and taking that desire and putting it into action by seeking education, mentors, resources and tools that will help you build a satisfied and rewarding life.

The first step in personal development is to take responsibility for the situation that you are currently in today. Your current lifestyle is a cumulative result of everything you have done, money you have spent, relationships you have developed and decisions you have made throughout your life. You need to deal with that before you can change the areas of your life that need improvement or alteration.

Personal growth is a process that produces personal change and progress. And it starts from within you. You must make the decision to seek and experience growth daily. No one can make this decision for you.

“We can never really change someone; people must change themselves. But we can help. We can be a resource.” – Stephen R. Covey

Your key to success is personal development! Personal development is a journey, not a destination. All highly successful people continually search for ways to keep learning, growing, and improving. The day you stop growing is the beginning of the end of your success.

Anything is possible if you are willing to do the work to achieve it. To achieve something you have never achieved before, you must become a person you have never been before. The way to do this is through personal development.

Personal development is your key ingredient to success. I have been developing a way to combine helping people to improve their personal development and using this new found mindset for them to then be able to set up a successful online business. For more details visit All The Missing Pieces.

Do you want a life by design or a life by default? You won’t see any improvements in yourself unless you start working oin your personal development. The starting point for you is to create a personal development plan. With this in place you will be ready to take your life and business to the next level.

Personal Development Planning  is a process for learning how you want to live and developing a plan to help make it happen enabling people to make the best use of their skills and to plan for their personal and career development. The impetus of a Personal Development Plan lies with you the individual taking responsibility for your own development and not sitting back waiting on someone else to do it for you.

It has been said that your income is a direct reflection of your own personal development. It’s when you work on yourself and improve yourself that your skills get better and everything in general improves.

Don’t accept just being OK.

•           An okay job

•           An okay relationship

•           An okay bank balance

•           An okay car

•           An okay house

•           An okay future

•           An okay standard of living

•           An okay life

Don’t allow mediocrity to keep you from living your greatest life. You must expect more out of every single thing in your life.  If your job just makes you feel “okay” or if you feel the work you are producing is just “okay”, there is something wrong. Life and the things in life are not supposed to be just “okay”.  That is not the way it was designed to be.  It is not that everything has to make us feel amazing, but if anything in life is not at least pretty good, we need to change it. those things that are just “ok” keep you from getting what you really want, because these are the things that you are willing to accept instead of going for what you really want and deserve.

Life is supposed to be great.  We are meant to enjoy it and the things and people in our life.  Okay, is just not good enough.  Don’t accept mediocrity or the status quo just because it is okay.  Change your perspective, change what you are doing, change your approach, change your dedication, change your effort…whatever the case may be, refuse to accept “okay”.

By producing your Personal development Plan you will be able to:

1. Expect great things out of life. Aim for the best, expect to reach it and to always have great things in your life.

2.  Consistently and honestly evaluate the things in your life, what you are doing, how you are doing it and how you feel.

3.  Develop goals and plans. Think through where you currently are and where you ultimately need to be.  Work on creating a road map and a detailed action plan so that you know where you are going and how you are going to get there.

4.  Take action. It’s time to move. It’s time to take action.  You have to figure out how best to push yourself continually and consistently so that you are always making progress against your plan.

5.  Keep pushing yourself. Recognize that it is a journey and you are going to need to continually find the motivation to keep going.

6.  Be real with yourself…no excuses. We allow ourselves to use the circumstances or what is going on around us as excuses.  Understand that there aren’t any real good reasons you are not making progress and moving in the direction you should be.

7. Believe in yourself. This is an important step as without the belief in yourself you will not have the courage to follow your goals.

What’s keeping you from making a success? You spend hour after hour, day after day, surfing the internet for information on how to successfully establish yourself a profitable on line business. You’re pulling in information from everywhere, trying to gather the pieces for this confusing puzzle but you never seem to be able to construct for yourself the complete answers. You remain as overwhelmed and confused as ever. So nothing changes, you’re still not making any money with your online efforts.

We have been able to build our online business to the point where we could quit our day job. We now have created All The Missing Pieces as a course where we can help you to achieve the same. Pay our new site a visit and find out more.

As always Jim great words. We are so often pointing the finger at others, blaming all sorts of things and situations, and we never seem to realise the only person we are hurting, holding back, is us

Thank you Matt. I really do advocate that without the right personal mindset, building any business is near impossible. To me Personal Development is vital for success.

Larry: I believe that my personal development is the key to my success. Instead of putting my focus on improving upon what I am already good at, I plan on focusing on my weaknesses and fears. At one point in my life, I tried to completely forget about my flaws and focus on my strengths, but I do not think that is how I should live my life anymore. Quite frankly, it is not how I want to live my life anymore because I think not trying to personally develop myself was a fear in itself.
As of lately, I have honestly been evaluating my life and it has really helped me put many things into perspective. I have faith in myself and I believe I can turn my weaknesses into strengths if I have patience.
