Many people I communicate with are so unhappy with the way their life is working out. There’s very little satisfaction gained from any part of their existence. They not happy with what’s been and have no exciting expectations of what’s to come. Is this the way you feel? Well why is your life such a mess and what are you going to do about it?
Every one of us has problems, some worse than others. Life can be a struggle, challenging you at every turn.
For a period my life seemed to be full of problems and disasters it was what can only be described as a train wreck, and for a while I felt like I was in a living hell. My life seemed like an endless series of problems and stressful situations. Nothing seemed to go right. I was fighting on all sides and all I felt was frustration, a failure with no way out.
But nothing stays the same for ever. Life will keep moving and changing, so we will always have a new chance. And that is how life has mapped out for me. I persisted, moving things forward, fighting as hard as I could.
You must not see yourself as a victim of circumstances because if you do you are robbing yourself of any chance of changing. I eventually realised there was a message hidden in the debris of all the things I lost. It took time for me to wake up to what this was, but once I did, my life seemed to be recharged with rocket fuel.
Life is a journey, just because you’re not getting what you want at present, doesn’t mean you never will. There’s one thing that we are not given when we start our life, that we need to discover as soon as we can. I’m talking about our life’s purpose, the very thing we are meant to be doing, the place we are meant to be contributing.
If you’re going through difficult times right now, you’re probably shouting at your computer screen. You’re trying to tell me it’s not your purpose that you need, but money to pay your bills, to put food on the table, and to keep a roof over your head.
One of the most successful bloggers of all time, Steve Pavlina said in his article Don’t Pay Your Bills :
Earning money also became much easier. Since I was already broke, I decided to focus on doing what I enjoyed, expressing my creativity, and making a contribution without worrying about how much I’d earn. Ironically, that’s exactly the kind of attitude that can generate abundant income. Every year since then has been financially abundant (almost 15 years now). Go figure.
The same is true for me. I was able to turn my life around moving from failure to success once I recognised the place where my passions and abilities connected, and this led me to finding my life’s purpose and empowered the business I’ve gone on to build.
During tough times you can revitalise everything by empowering yourself through inspiration and passion. Without a life fuelled by your passions, it’s likely that no matter what you do you’ll find your life is in a mess.
So maybe your life is in such a mess because you’ve been trying to do things that give you no excitement or joy, and now if you move towards your passion and purpose things are going to work out so much better.
Once you find your passion you’ll have the energy and inspiration to rebuild your life and fortunes. The more passion you have in your work, the higher your earning capacity will be. That is what I’ve learnt. No more mind numbing work for me just things I love to do. Why don’t you try it out for yourself?.
After all what have you got to lose?
