The so-called secrets to small business success are not really hidden at all. Most of the key things small business owners need to get right are out in the open, where anyone who’s paying attention can spot, understand, and embrace them.
To me nothing is more important than being savvy enough to develop a customer-focused business that engages your client’s hearts and minds, which at the same time is designed from the start to produce a substantial profit.
But at the foundation of your business must be the desire to make a small slice of the world a little bit better place to be.
For me an entrepreneur is someone who wants to make a difference and is willing to do what it takes to achieve this goal.
So a question I have for you, is do you want to make a difference in the world with your business?
Do you have the drive of a motivated entrepreneur to make a positive difference in the world and the drive to turn your business dreams into a reality?
I spend most of every day thinking of more ways to step up my game and take things to another level. I don’t claim to be extraordinary but I do care about serving others by leveraging what I’m good at.
Everyone is born with a unique set of talents and these are our most valuable tools and using them to make the difference ensures you’ll be remembered for what you did with them. A gift and talent is something that you’re not only good at, but it’s something that you love to do. When you’re using that gift you’re filled with enjoyment and power.
I am convinced we all find life most satisfying when we use our gifts to make life better for others. Whatever our gifts may be, life is best when we can use our gifts to help people. Your talents are of no use unless they inspire others to be better in one way or another
We have no idea sometimes how much of a positive influence we can have on others, but I know that as we use our talents to benefit others, we will see a wonderful business grow around us doing this.
So the one thing I really want you to think about today is:
What are your talents and how can they be used to make the difference?
You need to be able to answer this so as to understand how to use your talents to make the world a better place.
It was Andrew Carnegie who said “No man can become rich without himself enriching others.”
So each and every one of you has some talent for doing something, and you can do this better than anyone else out there. Once you hone these skills and talents, building your business around them, you will transform not only yourself but the whole world around you.
So identify an area that speaks to your heart and ignites your passion that will utilize your unique gifts.
