It is really important if you want to establish yourself as a successful blogger to be consistent and blog on a regular schedule; it is important to establish your frequency of posting  to build up your readership and content. The last few months, I have been up and down in terms of the consistency of my postings on this blog. As a pro blogger I feel very disappointed in myself, but know that the circumstances have made this unavoidable.

It is not that I haven’t been working hard online. I’m putting in about 12 hours a day. For my part, I am a professional blogger and I am trying to expand my business over at Healthy Lifestyles Living.

I’ve been really busy behind the scenes setting things up over their as part of our massive revamp and transfer from a .co.uk to .com domain. Not forgetting of course my responsibilities of every day blogging activities. In addition I have been carrying on with my other normal activities such as consulting, coaching and advising others and supporting members of my team. Alas my blogging here had to be cut back for a while. But now I’m back.

Sometimes as a blogger you have to make wise choices. Once you start blogging, there’s a temptation to overdo it. The more of it you do, the more success you achieve, the greater the lure to blog to even crazier proportions. Every now and again you have to say no to writing content, editing pictures and uploading to your site.

I’ve been busy having non-work related activities in the last two weeks too. This has forced me to neglect a large part of my business. But every now and again real life has to take priority.

Things are getting back to normal so now it’s time to get back to what I am passionate about, and what I love so much, Blogging. So I’m officially back in the blogosphere here at larry-lewis.com.

It’s going to be an interesting thing for me to see. My Alexa Ranking has plummeted. According to the downloadable Top 1,000,000 Sites (Updated Daily) found at Alexa Top Sites this site has dropped to 958, 928, I’m ashamed to say. So now I’m going to find out how good a blogger I am, and how quickly I can get this back up the ladder. So I’m about to find out if a blog which has been long neglected, can be resurrected.

So that’s my comeback blog written, and I’ll see you tomorrow.

It’s funny Larry, but sometimes ‘real’ life just takes over and our blogs suffer the consequences. Aside of the Alexa ranking, I believe that people understand for the most part. It would be great if that is all someone could do all day is sit at their computer and write, but that is an unrealistic goal. When we write, it comes from our heart. It is our experiences that lend to our posts, and therefore we would be void of ideas without our experiences 🙂
