Congratulations on taking this step to begin a new journey to a more fulfilling and satisfying life. Life coaching is about you and helping you to move yourself forward. This agreement is designed to provide the framework for our work together. It expresses an agreement from both parties to commit to each other during this coaching experience.
By purchasing a coaching package you are agreeing to the terms outlined below
Product – The product purchased will outline the number of coaching sessions, session duration and total product price. Please make sure all details are correct prior to making your payment.
Coaching Period – This agreement, between Larry Lewis Life Coaching and you, the client, will begin immediately upon purchasing a life coaching package and will continue for the set number of sessions as outlined on the product order confirmation.
Fees The fee for our sessions is as outlined as per your order and is charged immediately upon completing your order.
General In the coaching process, the agenda will be controlled by the client, and the client will take only those actions that are freely chosen by the client. The client hereby waives and releases any and all claims against the coach relating to the services provided by the coach under this agreement, and the client further agrees that the coach’s liability if any shall be limited to an amount equal to the fees paid by the client to the coach under this agreement.
The services to be provided by the coach to the client are coaching. Coaching, which is not advice, therapy, or counseling, may address specific steps to address goals, specific personal projects, business successes, or general conditions in the client’s life or profession. Other coaching services include value clarification, brainstorming, identifying plans of action, and examining modes of operating in life, asking clarifying questions, and making empowering requests. The coach will provide coaching services to the client through a program consisting of: initial intake (non-coaching) conversations, coaching conversations lasting 60 minutes each, written coaching materials, (fieldwork, exercises, and self-assessments) as appropriate and suggested reading.
The client and the coach agree to provide one another with a fourteen-day notice in the event it is desired to cancel further services.
The coach promises the client that all information provided to the coach will be kept strictly confidential.
Throughout the working relationship the coach will engage in direct and personal conversations.
The client can count on the coach to be honest and straightforward in asking questions and making requests. The client understands that the power of the coaching relationship can only be granted by the client and the client agrees to do just that: have the coaching relationship be powerful. If the client believes the coaching is not working as desired, the client will communicate and take action to return the power to the coaching relationship.
Our signature on this agreement indicates full understanding of and agreement with the information outlined above.
The Coach (My Commitment To You) – I Larry Lewis agree and demonstrate my commitment to you and our coaching relationship.
Aim – To provide a high quality professional coaching service and build a good and fair working relationship that focuses on the successful achievement of your chosen goals offering you my help, support, encouragement and guidance
Values – I promise to champion you and your changes without judgement and with optimism and support. To offer respect, honesty and a professional partnership as you set out to mould and shape your life in a way to fulfil your needs and dreams.
Services – The services that I provide include face to face coaching, telephone or skype coaching The purpose of coaching is to develop and implement strategies to help you to reach personally identified goals of enhanced performance and personal satisfaction in your life, business, career or vocation. Coaching, which is not advice, therapy, or counselling, may address specific personal goals, business goals or general conditions in your life or profession.
Method and Permission – Throughout the working relationship I will engage in direct and personal conversations. You can count on me to be honest and straightforward in asking questions and making requests. In order for the coaching relationship to be powerful you must communicate and take actions in a powerful way.
Responsibilities – I will seek to enable you to improve your quality of life or level of business success and to achieve your desired outcomes. Remarkable results can be achieved where you follow a clear plan in a committed way. However, you have sole responsibility for taking important decisions in your life or business. I have no liability for any loss incurred by any client, whether financial or otherwise, following commencement of coaching sessions, or for any perceived failure by the client, whether justified or otherwise, to achieve a material improvement in quality of life or business or to achieve their desired outcomes or goals. I will encourage you to show faith in yourself and to believe in yourself. I will work with you to define a plan of action for achieving your goals and desires, and keep you on track. I also agree to challenge any self-deceptions that hinder your progress towards your chosen goals.
Between Sessions – I may assign you tasks or exercises to complete between coaching sessions. Not doing these may slow your progress in gaining improved quality of life or achieving desired business or personal outcomes. Where possible, you are requested to submit any information requested relating to assignments at least 24 hours before the coaching session when they are to be discussed. I will provide feedback on completed assignments during coaching sessions.
You may contact me by skype or e-mail between sessions to seek clarification regarding anything arising from a coaching session or for administrative purposes (e.g. where a client needs to rearrange a coaching session or make a payment).
Payment Terms – Coaching fees are paid in advance. Please note that paying for a larger block of coaching time will result in your paying a reduced hourly fee. You are paying me for my time spent in coaching sessions, as well as work that I do on your behalf and at your request. I do not charge for most telephone calls and email outside of the coaching sessions, nor for work I do in support of the coaching services that I provide. If you make a request, however, that I feel will require a large block of my time, I may charge that time against your contract, but absolutely will discuss it with you before the services are provided. I will, at your request, send you a statement of the hours used, and remaining, in your current contract.
I do not bill for sessions that run a few minutes long, or for brief emails or telephone calls outside of the coaching sessions. If you want my feedback, have a problem, or can’t wait to share a success with me between our regularly scheduled sessions, please don’t hesitate to call or email me, and I will get back to you as soon as I can. By entering into a personal coaching relationship with me, you understand that I am on your side and want very much to be helpful to you. I will always do my best to be there for you.
The first coaching session will begin after you have signed this contract, and the first payment is received. Receipts will be sent by e-mail.
Feedback – If at any time you feel that your needs are not being met or you are not getting what you want out of coaching, please tell me, so that we can discuss your needs and adjust as needed. We will continue to work on the goals you have defined, unless you want to stop.
I want you to be satisfied with the coaching and our relationship. If I ever say anything that upsets you or you do not feel right, please bring it to my attention during the session. I will, however, often say things that will make you feel uncomfortable because we are drawing your attention to the things in your life that are not working for you. When a person begins to realise their strategies are not working, they naturally get an uncomfortable feeling that is an indicator that they need to change.
Rearranging Sessions – If you need to rearrange a coaching session, you should provide at least 24 hours notice. No refunds will be given for unused coaching sessions unless 24 hours notice has been given. In exceptional circumstances I may need to rearrange a coaching session. In those instances I will also give you 24 hours notice where practicable.
Termination – Either party may end the coaching relationship by providing the other party with a one week written notice, which may be transmitted by email. If the coaching agreement is terminated before all sessions have been conducted, the balance of your payment will be refunded. If at any time I feel coaching is not the way forward I will terminate sessions and fees will be reimbursed accordingly.
In exceptional circumstances, such as illness or other commitments, inappropriate behaviour by the client, actual or potential conflict of interest, or other reasons, I can decide to terminate the service to the client early or refuse or be unable to provide further coaching sessions to the client. In such a circumstance the client will be given reasonable notice of termination where practicable and will be refunded any advance payments made for coaching sessions not yet provided.
The client is entitled to terminate the service early at any time by giving written notice by email or letter. Such notice will take immediate effect as soon as it is received. In such a circumstance the client will be entitled to a full refund for any coaching sessions already paid for but not yet provided to the client and you will not be required to make any payment for coaching sessions not yet provided to the client.

Meetings For Face To Face Coaching – You will agree to attend meetings on time at the mutually agreed time. Both parties will agree to be fully prepared for the session.
Confidentiality – I promise that all information provided will be kept strictly confidential. I will not discuss anything we have talked about, nor release any information to anyone without your informed, written consent. I will respect all information provided to me and record it in a confidential manner according the Data Protection Act and will not divulge anything unless required by law.
Intellectual Property – The copyright and other intellectual property rights in all content images and material used in the coaching sessions or provided through our web site or emailed to you from us, are the property of Larry Lewis Life Coaching unless otherwise stated and may not be published distributed reproduced or altered without explicit permission.
Governing Law – Both parties must comply with all relevant laws. For the purposes of this Agreement Law is defined as English Law. The jurisdiction of English law is the defined law for the purposes of this Agreement.
I will adhere to strict Standards, Practices and Ethics , a copy of which is available.
Referrals – We reserve the right to recommend the services of other institutions or professionals if appropriate to your outcomes. These services are offered without liability, obligation or redress to our company or ourselves.
