YouTube Tuesday – This is England
06Dec
YouTube Tuesday, adopted from Josh at Its Tiger Time, is a fun day set aside for sharing your favorite video. Feel free to join in each week and see how creative we bloggers can be. Each month, Josh will highlight a selected video and present the winner with the ‘You Tube Tuesday’ Award.

Who remembers Punk Rock? Everybody does. Bands like The Sex Pistols, and The Clash inspired an entire generation of kids with perhaps little to no musical talent to get into music, and the by product was the young generation giving the middle finger to all forms of authority.
Punk Rock was alive and kicking. Being an English blogger I thought I’d take a step back into time and replay the Clash’s song ‘This is England’.
I apologise in advance for anything you may find offensive. But after all sex, drugs and rock and roll are synonymous.

Hello.
Not heard this before…don’t really listen to this type of music.
Things haven’t really changed much have they?
Certainly different.
Thanks for sharing.
Different it is Andy that is what punk rock was all about – non conforming
This is England, indeed, and, also, the U.S.A. – we are so much more into image and facade than we are into the true voice calling. We so need to get our priorities straight here and across the pond.
Fun is fun, when it communicates the love of God for each of us. We must ever be aware . . .
A brave and wonderful post, Larry!
Blessings~
Martha your comments at times are truly wonderful …. are faith will always be with us no matter the direction our writing or music takes us
Never heard of them but they are good Larry

Rimly you are far too sweet and young to even consider listening to punk rock … from the decadent past
