My passion for personal development and now also for blogging fuels my vigorous drive to achieve success. It is my passion that helps me to overcome all the obstacles I face along the way.
A good friend of mine made a statement in a webinar this weekend, that maybe summed up for me why I am a blogger, and no matter how successful I become in my online business, a blogger I will stay.
He said:
‘Bloggers blog because of their passion for their subject,
Internet Marketers blog to make money’.
Although I cannot deny that money is important, in my personal opinion you should not be guided solely by a motivation to make money. If your single motive is purely to make money through blogging the likelihood is that you are unlikely to succeed. But if you blog about a subject you are passionate about you are sure to find success.
“Don’t do it for the money, do it because you love it!”
If you are a blogger you should write on a subject that you love, what you have a passion for, not just what is making money for others. If you are an internet marketer, learn what blogging is really about, and bring your true passions to your business.
If you are going to succeed online then you have to be true to yourself and be passionate about what you are doing. If you are only “in it for the money” then you are destined to fail.
For me blogging was an outlet for me to teach the things that I believe are important. Today my advice to you is to find something you’re passionate about, and do it for a living. This one thing can transform your life. There are so many people out there looking for information and they really do need some guidance and vision. I want to be one of those people that helps. I have a feeling you do, too. So get the right perspective, and you will succeed, I assure you.
They say that money can’t buy you happiness, but I believe sharing your knowledge on a subject you love certainly can. To me there can be nothing more exciting, worthwhile than helping the world through my expertise, writing about something I love and making money in the process…you get the point. Bring your passions into your work, be motivated by helping others, and the money will just flow.
How many people, maybe reading my blog, dread going to work, or maybe they just find themselves constantly lacking motivation. Never will I find myself stuck in a boring 9 to 5 job where I find myself doing dull and repetitive tasks, day by day. Blogging has opened up so many opportunities for me, filling my life with excitement and success. Don’t you owe it to yourself to find the same driving force for your life? No longer allow yourself to do work that makes you unhappy, and prevents you from realizing your full potential in life.
Imagine a life where you find yourself getting up early, jumping out of bed, excited to start work. You might put in more hours than the average person, but it doesn’t seem difficult to you, because your work feels as though you are just spending time doing your hobby. My work is fun and interesting and exciting. It’s not a “job” but a passion.
