Katia. Thank you for your comment. External forces are real there is no doubt, and our reactions are at times very hard to control, but control we must. There’s a saying every time we get knocked down we must get back up, and yes show our 'resilience' to enable us to 'fight everyday to combat these external forces.' Life can be tough, about that there’s no doubt, but the reward from fighting back, and then helping others to do the same, well maybe that’s where the concept of yin and yang really works out.

Hello,

While I find your message quite inspiring, I think it is wrong to say that we created every problem that ever happened to us. There are always external forces working against us or some of us that we never invited or attracted. I think it very ignorant to just motivate people without taking into account that some people didn't create their problems and they did their best. External forces are real and they are designed to derail a person. You can assist people better when you acknowledge this reality because that is a step closer to empathizing with optimistic people who fight everyday to combat these external forces. Some forces are even spiritual.
I personal believe that we can achieve a lot of things with persistence, determination, optimism and hope. The question is, what happens when things are just waaay beyond us, and we are losing the zeal to keep trying without even realizing it.
