In reply to Jym @ Marketing Your Blog. Jym you are right but we must be careful how we approach this. It may be hard for internet marketers to accept bloggers and for bloggers to accept internet marketers. The latter is a strange brew and set in their ways. And if their ways are still letting them fail at a rate of 97%, I feel they would be wise to change. Don't you?

It’s great to see someone distinguish between ‘bloggers’ and ‘internet marketers using a blog’.

There is a difference. I began as a marketer wanting to capitalize on the blogging medium, but ended up getting far more excited about the medium than what I was working on previously.

All the serious authority blogs with high traffic online are built with a passion for the medium, as well as their subject.

But it’s certainly possible to combine the two… Thanks for sharing these thoughts Larry

I never even knew what Blogging really is until very recently Larry. As a passionate internet marketer, I too thought it was about sales. The reason that I am passionate about internet marketing though, is that I realize with my own knowledge and experience that I can in fact help so many others. When people realize that to achieve their own success they must help others achieve theirs, maybe things will turn around. Until then, 97% will still fail. Unless they find a true team that combines blogging and internet marketing. Now I must go and do my new passion…blogging about internet marketing. And BTW, 1895 shares!
