We will provide you with the mindset to become a successful on line entrepreneur and successful in LIFE and provide you with all the skills and knowledge to make this possible. The ‘All the Missing Pieces’ course is designed to help you make an online business career for yourself a reality not just a possibility, where you will see success within 6 months of the completion of the course.
Here is a brief overview of what you will be going through over the 12 weeks.
Week 1 – Your Personal Development Plan
Do you want a life by design or a life by default? Personal Development Planning is a guided continuous process for learning how you want to live and developing a plan to help make it happen enabling people to make the best use of their skills and to plan for their personal and career development. The impetus of a Personal Development Plan lies with you the individual taking responsibility for your own development and not sitting back waiting on someone else to do it for you.
Week 2 – Overview of what you need to set up for an online presence
Over the last year we have tested a variety of methods for creating an online business. The best way without a doubt is to combine all the things we have and consolidate them into one smart website. If we could start over again this is what we would do and this is what we are going to teach you to do. Once you have completed our course you will have a great new website which incorporates a blog AND an online shop (this is optional but highly recommended). In this chapter we will be giving you an overview of your site layout and how it can help you to establish yourself as the number 1 authority and also start making you some money.
Week 3 – Setting up your website, shop and blog
In week 3 we go into detail on how to get you online. This process involves creating a domain name along with your hosting services. What’s out there and what we recommend. We will also show you how to install WordPress and find that all important template. How to get it all online and get the basic skeleton of your new online presence sorted.
Week 4 – Setting up your blog and social networking sites
Week 4 consists of fine tuning your website. Installing the essential plug-ins needed for your blog to thrive. One additional component needed here is to tie your new business into your social networking sites – facebook, twitter, linked-in etc and make these sources available from your website.
Week 5 – The mentality of a successful online business person
Here we will reflect back on what you have been doing. Have you got the right framework to run your online business? Do you need to look back and change anything you have done? From this point on, once you get started it will be very difficult to change anything so you need to make sure you are going in the right direction with the right ideas and mind-set to make your online business work.
Week 6 – Monetisation – Setting up your site for advertising
The all important section of how to make money from your online business. How do you get the right balance between great content and selling your products? What are the best ways to generate money from your online business? We have told you to set up an online shop for a reason (hint hint). We will also look at affiliate marketing and MLM and provide you with an overview of what you need to do to start making money without having to lift a finger (eventually).
Week 7 – The technical bit – Understanding the whole process
You now have your online business up and running. Every template out there needs some kind of customisation. It’s rare you find a template pre-configured out the box which fits into your needs perfectly. It’s time to roll up your sleeves and get a basic understanding of how your online site works. After all, if you don’t know how the mechanics of your business works, how can you expect to run it successfully? This step is often overlooked by many a failing online entrepreneur.
Week 8 – Time management & scheduling what’s important
You have your new online business but there’s no way you can quit your day job just yet. How do you fit all of this into your existing schedule and make things happen without burning yourself out? There is a lot of work involved here and a regular commitment is needed. We will show you how you can manage your time efficiently, concentrate on what needs doing right there and then and keep you on track instead of finding you have just spent the last hour being distracted with emails and the latest gossip on Facebook!
Week 9 – Putting in content
Your site is up and running, you have allocated some time into your new business but now what? How do you get your new site noticed? What should you write about? What should you have on your site for when your new visitors start poking around your new online venture? We will show you what a website needs to have and also give you some tips on how you can create useful content and keep any new visitors returning back to your site in the future.
Week 10 – Generating traffic
Now you have your website filled with great content let’s start putting it out there and get your new website noticed. We will show you the right way and the wrong way to go about using all the social networking tools you will rely on when first starting out. Don’t expect to set up a new website, create a page and be number 1 on Google. It doesn’t work like that; you need to earn that number 1 position through patience, creativity and skill.
Week 11 – Analysing your progress and acting like big kids when competing
Now you’re out there shouting your message to the world. Like most new projects you won’t get it right first time. If you keep on doing the same thing over and over without analysing if it’s actually working you will never improve. Looking over your results is paramount; it will show you what you need to be doing next. You may find a new target market you didn’t even know existed but they are finding your site from somewhere. It’s important to know how you are being found so you can turn a trickle of traffic into a stream of traffic or even better, hit that ‘golden nugget’ and go viral! Without analysis you will be navigating your website blind and will not be able to get the best out of your efforts.
Week 12 – The secrets
The one everyone will be waiting for. As if we’re going to tell you what’s in this section! You will just have to wait and see, we promise it will be worth the wait though.
