What is our Business?

what is our business

Have you asked yourself recently ‘What is our business?’ Simple question, isn’t it?

You see, nothing may seem simpler or more obvious to a business owner or a marketer than to know what his company’s business is.

The question should be asked at the inception of a business, and if not, it’s never to late, particularly if you’re ambitions to grow.  So if you haven’t asked the question, there’s never a better time to start than now. Get yourself clear to what your business is.

Many businesses utilise a blog to help promote their business, and some to directly sell themselves, their products and their services. Others use a blog to drive Internet traffic to their business’s web pages.  But what about those people who decide to blog in order to make money but don’t have an existing business, nor a product or service to sell? To them their blog is the business. Or is it?

If you are a hobby blogger this has no interest to you. But if you’re blogging to make money online you’ve got to go further than just Blogging to grow your personal profile, build your authority, simply share some of your thoughts and ideas, because unless you get a proper focus nothing is going to really happen.

You have to treat your blog  as a serious business. It’s not easy. In fact, if you ask anyone who Blogs regularly, it’s one of the hardest things to do.

Blogging is an effective way to reach prospects and clients. But what is it you’re selling them. Around what is your business based. Do you actually know? Can you answer the question ‘What is Our business?’. Or are you working for the sake of working.

We all know what a powerful marketing tool blogging can be. Plenty of businesses have soared as a result of regular, effective blogging. Ours have. So why do so many fail to make a penny from blogging? What is the difference? What do we know that they don’t?

You’re reading this so the chances are you are a blogger, or even a network marketer. And I guess you’re not making any money from your online ventures.

Whether you’re an entrepreneur, a small business, or just a blogger YOU MUST ask yourself what business you’re in.

So ask yourself What business are you in?

Can you satisfy the want of a client when they buy your product or service?

Do you have a product or service to sell to them?

The question “What is our business?” can be answered by looking at your business from the point of view of customer and the market.

So when I’m on your blog, would it be obvious to me what you’re offering?

And are you making it easy for me to buy from you?

Keep trying to implement things into your blog until you’ve created a business that helps you achieve your goals in life. It’s simple really. Your blog is not complete until you are selling something from it.

If you’re ready to take your blog from a hobby to a real business, maybe I could help you. You won’t know until you’ve made contact. Here’s my email coach@larry-lewis.com.

There are some over 10 million blogs out there, with 1000’s  of new ones popping up each day. Yet you can have a phenomenal business, and maybe you’ve already got everything in place, but you’re simply not asking

What is Our Business?
