Larry Lewis - My Blog

I see myself now not just as a blogger, or a personal development coach, but as a lifestyle entrepreneur who is building something meaningful. Having turned my passion into a real lifestyle business I want to show others how to do it themselves.

Blogging … it takes time, but it’s worth it

Blogging it takes time but it’s worth it

If there’s something I’ve come to understand over the past two years it’s that blogging success depends on staying power.

When you start blogging make yourself one unbreakable commitment that you will never, ever quit. If your dream is to make an income from blogging, and writing on a subject you are passionate about, then I promise you this is a smart thing to do. After all I started life as a clueless hobby blogger, now look at me, I have a money making online business, and I’m a full time blogger.

I know that this last month has been my most traumatic since starting out as a blogger, and I’ve been forced to let everything slip, but as an online entrepreneur I still made money, good money.  I admit my normal week keeps me online for at least 40 hours, but they are hours that I love every second of what I do. Maybe this personal development coach himself needs time coaching. Now there’s a thought!

During my normal week I still have time to do a little socialising, plenty of exercise, and – of course – take out ‘me-time’. Occasionally I even get a good night’s sleep!

Blogging can at times prove to be a demanding undertaking, but with ample rewards for those that persist and put the time in.

My Healthy Lifestyles Living is not the same blog it was when it started nearly two years ago. The site has evolved, and will continue to do so. To maintain a successful blog, you need to provide a constant flow of new and interesting material. Things have to change, and you have to be progressing forward all the time.

If you want to keep an audience, you have to keep things fresh, original and provide information of value.

It’s tough for a blog to succeed. You have to set yourself apart, you have to let your readers identify with you and you have to show them your appreciation. Readers come to a blog for information but they also come to be part of a community.

Even then, many things have to happen right in order for a blog to grow to be successful

•           You need to work hard.

•           You need to write well.

•           You need to cover a subject that interests people.

•           You need to spread the word.

•           You need to get lucky.

But if you bring your passions to blogging you really can make it pay off for you. But make sure you make the best use of your time, or go find some time coaching, if there is such a thing. Mind you, there is always my Healthy Lifestyles Living Blog that has loads of articles on time management, so i ask you, who needs time coaching.

I want to maintain my lifestyle, grow my business, increase my income and love blogging and coaching as much in the future as I do now.  I also love helping others enjoy the same lifestyle benefits that I do.
